My name is Angharad Treasure. I am 22 years old and I live in the Brecon Beacons in South Wales. I have always been a creative person who is interested in animals, flowers and the outdoors. I got my first camera when I was 13 and I loved documenting my family holidays or photographing my garden as it changed with the seasons. In school, I was passionate about art and biology. My creative side led me to undertake a foundation art and design course where I first tried 35mm film photography. My father lent me his film camera to take photos while we were on a road trip around British Colombia, Canada and I've adored film ever since.
I then went on to study Marine and Natural History Photography at Falmouth University. While there I created a short film and a book as well as learning the skills it takes to create a great image and work as a photographer in the professional world. I am graduating very soon and I am looking forward to the next step, a career in professional photography.
Equipment
I predominantly photograph using my Canon 6D with a 24mm - 105mm lens. Also using a 70mm - 300mm to photograph wildlife. I have developed a love for 35mm colour film photography. My film camera is a Canon 300 with a 28mm - 105mm lens. My favourite film to use has to be Kodak Portra 400.
